hatesblindjokes[Vincent is wandering around the city streets in the dead of night, looking for the hotel that Robin told him about. the goal is to meet up and discuss the game plan, now that he's here.
but given that he is both lost and blind, that's proving kind of difficult. that motherfucker, would it have been so hard to give him directions? and no one really wants to talk to a seven-foot, weird-looking guy this late at night, so he's mostly just... hands in his pockets, shoulders hunched up, trying to listen for conversation or something that'll help him figure out what is where.]

May. 12th, 2012 05:28 pmhatesblindjokes[you, sir or madam, have just been transferred across dimensions to The Hanged Maiden, which is really quite an unfortunate name for a grubby-but-popular little bar on one of the higher levels of the Skeleton City Underground. it's a work night, so the place isn't packed and rowdy so much as it is buzzing and kind of hungover.
there's a guy at the bar, near the end, who kind of sicks out. he's near seven feet tall and conscious of it, seeing as he's hunched over in the way that really tall people just seem to subconsciously manage. he's got a drink with ice in it and seems perfectly content to stare vacantly and broodily down at the counter in front of him.
part of that's because he can't actually see, but that's not immediately obvious.]

May. 12th, 2012 12:41 pmbirdsbirdsbirds[this whole thing could have gone better, really. he thought that maybe they'd finally have something for him, now that they're taking things seriously. now that their lives so depend on it. but no, they just filled him up with the same old stuff and waited while he groggily fumbled around, nearing, reaching for, and spectacularly avoiding death.
it wasn't until they burned him alive that they really started being afraid of him. he wonders if they're going to tell the whole world. maybe they'll finally know about him, and then a new game will begin.
