[Vincent is wandering around the city streets in the dead of night, looking for the hotel that Robin told him about. the goal is to meet up and discuss the game plan, now that he's here.
but given that he is both lost and blind, that's proving kind of difficult. that motherfucker, would it have been so hard to give him directions? and no one really wants to talk to a seven-foot, weird-looking guy this late at night, so he's mostly just... hands in his pockets, shoulders hunched up, trying to listen for conversation or something that'll help him figure out what is where.]

Robin had told him the general vicinity to look, and had mentioned the fact that he would be looking for a ridiculously tall man.
...He'd failed to inform him of any other pertinent details, however.
So, when he spots someone by that description passing by the mouth of the lane where he's perched, he hops down from the fire escape and heads off to catch up with him.
He's not trying to be sneaky... everything he does is just naturally quieter than he should be.]
no subject
so he sighs a little and walks (big strides, so) his way down the street, eventually turning where he can feel the open air of an alleyway. once there, he will wait quietly, tucked around the corner, for that guy to catch up.]
no subject
Seeing him turn down an alley makes him frown a little--at least he knows the guy's probably aware of his presence--but he's pretty sure if he just looks casual enough about it when he turns the corner, making himself easy to see, he'll be okay.]
no subject
All right. What's your deal?
no subject
He's certainly not used to that kind of insane reach, so he's grabbed and hoisted off the ground before he even has a chance to try and do something about it.
And, funny, but the kid doesn't answer. He just kicks for a moment--more out of sheer surprise than anything--before giving up. Aside from grabbing at the guy's wrist to help lift himself and keep from strangling in his own collar, he lets his legs dangle.]
no subject
Eh? Come on. Why the fuck are you following me?
no subject
And aside from trying to turn his head, as if something nearby would help him out in some way, he's got nothing at the moment.
Again, the little creeper stays silent.]
no subject
[eventually... if he's not saying anything... and not making any other attempts to kill him, Vincent will just... slowly... put him back down. and let go of him.
it may be telling that he doesn't really move his head when he does. not going for eye contact, this guy.]
no subject
He automatically slides back a step once he's free... but he does realize that it's not enough to actually put him outside of this guy's reach. It'll have to do, though. He can finally explain-- making quick work of pointing at the guy, and then pointing back toward the vague direction of the hotel, trying to show why he'd followed him in the first place.]
no subject
Buddy, I can't see.
no subject
Of course Robin would send him after someone like that. A blind giant. Perfect.
So, Vincent gets a nice long pause of frustration while the kid tries to figure out what to do, here.]
no subject
[yep. this is going to be the most quality conversation ever.]
no subject
There's another strained pause while he flounders for a way to answer, until he finally looks around for something that makes sound.
...All he's got in an alleyway like this, is a nearby crate.
He knocks on it twice, very distinctly.
Knock knock. He's mute.]

She's settled for a happy medium-- wait in an alley, and grab unsuspecting schmucks off the street.
Crouched down against the wall like the bags of garbage she's sitting with, she lets herself drop into an absolute lack of motion. No breath, no little betraying things that would come with being alive. She's just a corpse lying in wait.
So, there isn't a whole lot to give her away before the heavy footfalls pass by the mouth of the alley. There's just nothing, and then a flurry of abrupt movement in the next moment as she leaps up to try and grab and haul her prey into the alley--
--and fuck is he bigger than she expected.]

Aside from her head snapping to the side with a snarl, it doesn't slow her down at all. Which would be great... if she had any idea of what to do now.
He's fucking huge.
Pulling him off his feet is actually more of a detriment than anything, because now there are all these limbs everywhere, and he's kind of toppling over onto her, and she's suddenly running out of room to move.
The only thing she can do is try to drag him deeper into the alley and lever him around to get him against a wall... but she's only vaguely sure that it's even possible]
no subject
and he's done this enough to know not fuck around with footing. he grounds himself pretty fast, tries to twist around punch her where her abdomen must be.]
no subject
--and oh, yeah, he really is at least as strong as he looks. That's nice to know.
It's a good thing that she doesn't strictly need to breathe, because the air is completely bashed out of her lungs. Even though punching her is more akin to punching something like a heavy-duty punching bag, she crumples at the middle.
But she's still got a grip on him, so she can at least try to repay the favor by dragging him toward her and slamming a knee up toward his middle. Take some wind out of his sails, if she can]
no subject
he tries to shove her off of him so that he can get a little space. and a little air. yeesh, she hits hard for a chick.]
no subject
And the snarling suddenly stops.]
--Hey! It's you!

[finally letting go of the now-halfhearted hold she'd had on him, she straightens up. And maybe smooths where she'd wrinkled his jacket from dragging him around. Like a good friend would.]
Jesus, you're even taller than I'd thought you were. Goddamn.
no subject
What do you--? You just dragged me into an alley for fuck's sake.
no subject
Oh. Yeah, sorry about that.
[if she'd been intending on killing or maiming him, she doesn't seem awkward about it. Same for the potentially being revealed as a horrible monster thing]
