He has had... a fantastic break. Finding Michael again, making a new "friend", even Euri showing up has put him in a better place than he was before. He hadn't realized it, but Tek is a lot of work. It was nice to not have to battle off mind games and manipulation and his many petty fits over nothing.
But just like he said Tek was a real snake, he also said he liked him. And it's true, otherwise he wouldn't have bothered showing up again so soon. Tracking down the distinct feeling of him through the tower, he's eventually knocking on his door.
"Hey," called through the door. "You busy?"

"Hey," called through the door. "You busy?"

Still looking sleepy, he hoists himself up onto his elbows, leaning toward the bag curiously.
"It worked? ...What is it?"
no subject
And then he holds out a meatbun for him. The best, most perfect food ever created. --Aside from waffles.
"I think that city kid was about to have a heart attack, though."
no subject
"Why? What did you do?"
Then, he pauses in reaching for it, glancing around as he suddenly debates whether he's really going to allow food on his bed or not.
no subject
"Nothing. He just thought I was crazy."
He starts reaching into the bag to get something for himself, too.
"Just don't think they come here, maybe for a reason. The guy was pretty spooked." Jabbing his thumb, as if it's the same subject. "--More food's back there."

And he's still conflicted, reluctantly letting his eyes leave the bag in Robin's lap to glance past him toward the rest of the haul. But, in the end, his stomach ends the argument. He finishes off the meatbun in two bites, regardless of how hot it might be.
"...This was a good idea."
no subject
He's only got one bite in his mouth when Tek finishes his off... so he finishes chewing and holds out the bag. Tek might as well be the official holder of the things, given that he'll eat most of them himself.
It was a good idea, but he says nothing about that, either.
"You're cute when you sleep."
Smiling. That was more important, while he's thinking about it.

It makes him pause, and he narrows his eyes with this look like he can't figure out whether Robin is being sarcastic or not. It's not exactly something he's often told.
no subject
"Hey, I mean it! You just looked really... comfortable, you know?"
He was going to say 'happy', but somehow he doesn't think that would sit quite right with Tek. Besides, he thinks he's mentioned before that he likes Tek happy anyway. He busies himself with finishing his first snack.
no subject
"I don't know if I like the thought of you watching me while I sleep," just a joking reply to have something to say, because he's keeping whatever he really thinks--if there is anything--close to his chest.
He's taking a little more time with his second snack, now that there's something in his stomach.
no subject
He says it with a smirk, but he means it with a sort of bizarre truth to it. That happens when he starts getting too happy. He gets too honest. It's a major flaw of his, really.
But he shifts away from it while he leans over and stretches to try grabbing the tops of the other bags between his fingers (with minimal success).
"I also got some of that almond chicken stuff, stir fry, rice... tons of stuff in here."
no subject
And, he doesn't bother dwelling on it. When Robin leans and goes reaching, Tek reaches too... and pushes him just a little. He sees how little success he's having on his own, so...
He's helping, really.
no subject
"You get the next one," said with a 'smartass' excluded from the end.
no subject
He looks satisfied, and vastly more comfortable. He even resettles himself where he's sitting on the bed, shifting over so he can lean a little on a wall of pillows, folding his legs up beside him. Probably just balancing some meaningless set of scales in his head, like he does.
"What did you grab?"
no subject
"This looks like mostly rice and anything that could leak--" Holding the boxes up, looking concerned at the bed. "--Should I pull over a table or something?"
no subject
"Yes." ...Not that he conveniently has one available or anything.
no subject
But after a quick glance around a room, the real problem becomes evident.
"I imagine you'll be upset if I move things."
