ladiesssKrista can't help it. Maybe it's her Unseelie nature, but whenever someone tells her to "stay out of it" or "mind her own business" it just makes her impossibly curious as to why that person would want her to keep away. That's why, after Sandrine's serious warning, she decided to go snooping in her room. Not what a normal person would do, no, but she's long past considering herself bound by the rules of "normality".
She's an expert in the art of stealth (and she's watched a ton of spy movies and murder mysteries), so she's picking through things as carefully as she can. Looking for traps, knocking for secret doors, putting everything back exactly the way she found it, and so on. She was hoping for something that would give her a hint as to what Sandrine really is or what she can do. It'd be awesome if she could figure out whether or not she needs to worry about being hunted down and killed in her sleep. But she's not finding much of anything, and it's discouraging.
That is until she finally notices that something sounds off when she steps on a certain part of the floor.
