Irahl is never in a hurry. He takes his time before placidly placing a card down, though it's not due to paying more attention to the conversation or thinking about his turn. It's because he's taking advantage of his current sobriety by still trying to read the cards without looking. When he gets tipsy, reading is the first skill to go--regardless of whether he's using his eyes or his hands.

"Not while they're chewing on something," he comments, though he doesn't share yet that it works best if the thing they're chewing on is an annoying and immortal friend. He'll hold onto that piece of advice a little bit longer.

"Worth it for a ground-floor apartment though."
