The original plan, following his usual routine, had been to set everything up to wake up in the morning, get ready for bed... and just go to bed. But with Vincent here and chatting, that routine gets a little interrupted. It's jarring, but the end result still ends up closer to their aimless and companionable habits on the ship. At first, he sits on the edge of the bed and goes to put his glass of water on the nightstand, before hesitating and rearranging to sit back against the headboard. He just kind of continues to hold onto his drink. The glass usually had alcohol in it, up in space, but otherwise the scene is pretty familiar.

This may be the first time in history that Irahl takes a (brief) break in the middle of work-mode to do something that seems suspiciously like relaxing.
