Oh, that's actually a really good idea, and his affirming grunt is the kind that says he's taking that piece of advice to heart. He's not normally one to delegate or rely on the help of others, (the 'teamwork' section of his report card has consistently below-average marks,) but he's logging this one away in an important space in his brain.

This is about the time that he finishes with his braid. Even though it will still be some time before they're actually at the capitol, he has spent extra care in making a neat, orderly plait. It's a therapeutic act that at least makes him feel more put-together.
