The only downside to the brutally honest conversation they've had is that Seth has no way to dismiss that "thank you" as a common formality. He knows that this meant something important to this man.

He could say that it's no problem, but that's dishonest. He could say to consider it his thanks for helping his brother during a time Seth couldn't be there for him, which is slightly less dishonest, but still not true enough for his tastes. He could say some "don't thank me yet" line that feels honest, but it would disrespect the man's effort to thank him in the first place.

Instead, he pauses, seeming lost in thought for a second or two. When he returns, he looks to the large table in the center of the room.

"I'll give you something to take to my assistant. They're capable of handling things from here."

And then he'll cross to the side with all those notes and papers piled up, scribble something down on a piece of stationary, tear it off, and walk back to hand the note to Irahl.

"And please tell Vincent to come see me next."
