It doesn't matter exactly what either of them might want to do from here on out, moving backward is an excellent idea. Just about when the dragon is getting restless for more something, Robin is giving the signal to shift gears.

At the very, very least, Tek can really get his hands on Robin if they move. Grinning and breathy, he doesn't hesitate to slide back from his partner, bracing his hands back on the desk so that he can hoist himself up to sit on the edge of it. Papers get pushed to the side; things get jostled. It's just a small sound, but it adds to the rush of a ticking clock looming over them.

From there, he can reach for Robin and usher him aimlessly closer. He can kiss him, bite his lip, reach down and return at least some of the attention that Robin had just been lavishing him with, before whatever is going to happen next.
