For all of those things that had already happened, the multiple things that would have made an irrevocable first impression on any normal, thinking creature... Phalanx seems relatively unaffected now. Poor and foolish indeed, but very resilient.

If anything is going to tolerate an extended stay with Robin, maybe this pack of creatures is it.
