[perhaps to spite Robin (more than he already has) the first thing that Tek does is croon in wordless amusement. he does, however, lower his predatory pose into a more relaxed crouch. his head slinks down near Robin, practically hovering over his shoulder, and his tail lashes dangerously behind him, but it amounts to him looking more like an animal wanting to play with something than one about to tear into an enemy.
he does eventually speak again, though he doesn't go out of his way to sound less snarly when he does. 'why? do you think they'll mistake me for your pet?']
